Inspiration
Nature inspires me with its infinite color palette, unthinkable combinations and amazing textures, it is without a doubt an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me. Trees, flowers, mushrooms, insects, animals, feathers, skins, fish, corals, birds, etc.
Textures inspire me a lot! I must confess that I have a kind of fixation with them. These can be present in different things, tree bark, sculpture, architecture, prints, fabrics, shadows, etc.
Another of my great inspirations is the emotional world, moments, memories, feelings and aromas... From this place I get excited, I surprise myself and I let myself be carried away by a current of gratitude that mobilizes me to create.
Throughout my life I have had the opportunity to see many original works by great artists, this has undoubtedly been something that has marked me a lot, the talent, what each work transmits, the obvious and also what can be interpreted, it amazes me!
My favourites
Gustav Klimt, I like everything! From the use of color, geometric shapes, the saturated and at the same time lightness of his compositions. The Art Nouveau trend in its delicate and sinuous lines… I feel that it transmits many emotions in its works. The dreamlike, ethereal, ufff I love it!
Vicent Van Gogh, I really like the use of color, movement, the continuous and infinite line that mutates, that envelops and traps. I feel that it transmits a magical freedom, delicate but at the same time deep and forceful.
Henri Matisse, I am fascinated by his boldness, how playful and carefree he is. I love how freely it moves.
I love his curiously dressed women, the textures of the genres, the unorthodox combinations. It seems that in their eyes nothing is frowned upon and everything is allowed! I fell in love with this, it is a free art, it does not seek to qualify, belong or fit in.
Yayoi Kusama, there are so many things I admire about her... The use of color, shapes, how she brings art closer to all people in her installations! And in them everyone is invited to “be artists” by placing, for example, a flower, a dot, etc. within their work. I feel that it is a deep message, full of meaning, because it is capable of seeing the other and generating an experience, leaving a feeling that the rest is also worth it! I really admire his ability to experiment without limits in different art forms, I love it!
Frida Kahlo, I admire how authentic and honest she is, she freely paints what she feels without shame. I really like the hidden language of his works, what is not obvious, the metaphors he incorporates to tell what he is experiencing. I love his ability to move forward, the courage and courage to show his different dimensions. That mix between the expressionist and the surreal that shakes and excites.
